We are pleased to offer this exquisite porcelain plate from the renowned Count of Artois manufactory, crafted during the late 18th century under the Ancien Régime, before the French Revolution. The plate features a delicate Barbeaux (cornflower) floral motif, a popular design in French porcelain of the time.
The Count of Artois, the younger brother of Louis XVI and future King Charles X, was the patron of this prestigious Parisian manufactory located on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis. The plate represents the artistry and craftsmanship of pre-Revolutionary France.
