Elegant oblong dish from the prestigious Flora Danica collection by Royal Copenhagen, Denmark. Produced in 1967 (marked by the line under the letter “H”), this finely crafted piece is entirely hand-painted, making each dish unique. Part of a celebrated series inspired by the ambitious 18th-century Danish scientific project to document every plant in the kingdom, the botanical illustrations were designed under Georg Christian Oeder and engraved by Martin and Michael Rössler, combining scientific precision with refined artistry.
