This exquisite pill box is part of the Service à Perles et Barbeaux, a model inspired by the famous Sèvres porcelain service featuring pearls and cornflowers. The original service was created in 1782 for Marie Antoinette to be used at her retreat, the Petit Trianon.
This pill box is a beautifully crafted piece, with the delicate cornflowers finely reproduced. A testament to the high-quality craftsmanship of Ancienne Manufacture Royale de Limoges, a prestigious porcelain manufacturer later integrated into the luxury brand Bernardaud.
