This beautiful porcelain trinket tray is crafted by the Lys Royal factory in France. This model is a reproduction of a model decorated with cornflower from the Manufacture de la Reine, a Paris kiln owned by Queen Marie Antoinette in the 18th century. The motif of cornflowers was highly popular among the French aristocracy and royal families, frequently seen on tableware during the period.

Marie Antoinette is also known to have owned a set of Sèvres ware dinnerware featuring cornflower and pearls. This piece is a limited edition model, and the marking "Decor exclusif Tirage limité" indicates its exclusivity.
